In order to get the most out of your new sealed battery it is very important that you follow these filling and charging instructions prior to the first use. It is also recomended that you use a battery maintainer for extended periods of time when it is not in use. We carry ones that you can install a charging port for quick connecting and disconnecting of the charger.
Sealed Battery Primary Prep Instructions

Remove Foil Seal from battery.

Invert acid pack and push into top of battery.

Lance small holes in top of each cell of acid pack while inverted with razor knife or thumb tack to facilitate even & complete filling.

Let Battery Sit for at least 45 minutes exposed to the air, without putting cap seal on.

Install 6 Cap Battery seal.

Charge with 1.5 Amp or lower Motorcycle battery charger with Auto shutoff. DO NOT USE AN AUTOMOTIVE BATTERY CHARGER.

Install Battery in vehicle.
